Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: August 3, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations and refund requests for subscriptions and one-time credit purchases are handled for Try OC Maker. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Canceling a Subscription
You may cancel a subscription at any time by contacting [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. Include your account email and available order or subscription details.
After cancellation:
- your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period;
- you will not be charged for later billing periods; and
- unused time in the current period is not automatically refunded, except as expressly provided below or required by law.
Submitting a cancellation request does not itself create a refund request. If you also seek a refund, clearly state that in your message.
2. Monthly Subscription Refunds
You are eligible for a full refund of a monthly subscription only when both conditions are met:
- your complete refund request is received within 14 days after the applicable monthly subscription period begins; and
- you have used less than 10% of the credits included in that billing period.
Requests outside the 14-day period or at or above the 10% usage threshold are not eligible, except for billing errors, approved special circumstances, mandatory consumer rights, or another express provision of this Policy.
3. Annual Subscription Refunds During the First Month
You are eligible for a full refund during the first month of an annual subscription only when both conditions are met:
- your complete refund request is received within 14 days after the annual subscription period begins; and
- you have used less than 10% of the credits included for the first monthly credit allocation.
After the first 14 days, a first-month annual refund is not guaranteed and may be reviewed only under the later sections of this Policy or where required by law.
4. Annual Subscription Refunds After the First Month
After the first subscription month, we may approve a partial annual-plan refund on a case-by-case basis. If approved, the refund is calculated as:
Refund = maximum of zero and: annual subscription fee actually paid minus completed subscription months multiplied by the current monthly price of the same plan.
Completed subscription months are measured from the subscription start timestamp, not by calendar months. The calculation does not create a refund greater than the amount actually paid and does not include taxes or fees that a payment provider or law makes non-refundable.
5. One-Time Credit Purchase Refunds
You are eligible for a full refund of a one-time credit purchase only when both conditions are met:
- your complete refund request is received within 14 days after the purchase is completed; and
- none of the credits included in that purchase have been deducted or used.
If any credit included in the purchase has been deducted or used, the purchase is not eligible for a full or partial refund, except for an incorrect or duplicate charge, a verified technical failure, an approved special circumstance, a mandatory consumer right, or another express provision of this Policy. Subjective dissatisfaction with an output does not make a used credit refundable when the Service operated as described.
If a refund is approved, all credits associated with the refunded purchase will be canceled and removed from the account before or when the refund is processed.
6. Measuring Credit Usage
The usage percentage for monthly and first-month annual eligibility is based only on credits included in the relevant subscription allocation.
Bonus, promotional, referral, compensation, or gifted credits are excluded from both the numerator and denominator. Credits are treated as used when they are deducted for a generation or other Service operation, even if the result does not meet a user's subjective preferences.
If credits were deducted because of a verified technical failure and later restored, those restored credits do not count as used for this calculation.
7. Billing Errors and Special Circumstances
Incorrect or duplicate charges are always eligible for investigation and correction.
We may also review significant unresolved technical problems or extended Service unavailability as special circumstances. A special-circumstance review does not guarantee a refund and may result in a full refund, partial refund, restored credits, replacement service, or another reasonable remedy.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] and provide:
- the email address associated with your account;
- the order, invoice, transaction, or subscription identifier, if available;
- the plan and purchase date;
- the reason for the request; and
- relevant screenshots, error details, or other supporting information.
Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate. If a chargeback is already open, we may need to coordinate the request through the payment provider and may temporarily restrict related account or billing activity while the dispute is reviewed.
9. Processing and Payment Timing
We typically review complete refund requests within 5 to 10 business days. Complex cases, incomplete information, suspected fraud, or an active payment dispute may take longer.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. After approval, a bank, card network, or payment provider may require an additional 5 to 10 business days or more to display the credit.
Currency conversion differences, bank fees, and payment-provider fees are handled according to the provider's rules and applicable law.
10. Non-Refundable Items
Unless required by law or expressly approved under this Policy, the following are non-refundable:
- monthly subscriptions that fail either the 14-day or less-than-10% requirement;
- annual subscriptions during the first month that fail either requirement;
- one-time credit purchases requested outside the 14-day period or from which any included credit has been used;
- bonus, promotional, referral, compensation, or gifted credits;
- fully delivered and consumed digital services;
- expired or forfeited credits;
- subjective dissatisfaction with an output when the Service operated as described; and
- purchases or accounts involving fraud, chargeback abuse, or material policy violations.
Enforcement action does not remove any mandatory consumer right.
11. Mandatory Consumer Rights
This Policy does not limit refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
Where access to digital content begins immediately at your request, applicable law may affect a statutory withdrawal right. Any required checkout consent or disclosure will control together with this Policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy prospectively. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when required. The version in effect when you purchased generally governs that completed purchase unless a later version is more favorable to you or applicable law requires otherwise.
